Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting from dawn to sunset, increased prayer, and reflection. The exact start date is confirmed by the sighting of the new crescent moon.
Note: This countdown targets an astronomically estimated date. The actual start of Ramadan 1448 AH will be confirmed by moon-sighting committees closer to the date and may shift by a day.
